|
| Hello!
I'd like to invite you to the 2009 Limited Editions Release Party on Thursday, October 1, from 2:00 to 3:30 in the Winnet Coffeehouse.
This year's magazine is so exciting-- I am really thrilled with the writing as well as the photography. I've asked writers to read from their work, and I've also asked photographers to speak about their pieces. The party should be fun and fascinating. And there will be refreshments!
Hope to see you,

FLU SEASON IS UPON US
|
| Flu season is now upon us. This year may be particularly problematic as we are confronted with the prospect of both the regular flu and the H1N1 (Swine) flu. As you are no doubt aware, the CDC stated that we are now in a worldwide pandemic alert status.
The college has developed work rule policies and procedures for faculty and staff in the event that you are absent from work due to the flu or flu-like symptoms. This includes your own absence or if you must be absent to care for an immediate family member.
Please see the corresponding email with attachment or the Human Resources Web site for a copy of the policy and procedure work rules and the Return to Work Verification Form.
If you have any questions, please contact the Benefits Office: Agnes Trummer at x8208 or Joan Paul at x8038.

Utilize the calendar to assist in the planning of a culturally sensitive schedule of events, tests and other activities.
The calendar can be accessed at the link specified below. Features in the calendar include:
- The Month-At-A-Glance highlights which days of the month have multicultural/diversity events along with a brief description and an option to get more extensive information regarding the event.
- Public holidays for over 85 countries and information about various international foods and recipes.
If you have questions or a problem accessing the 2009 Multicultural Calendar, please contact the Office of Diversity and Equity at extension 8039. Thank you.
